Your Inheritance

John 3:36

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not have life, but will remain under God's punishment.”

Have you shared this scripture with people you know?  Let’s look at the words very carefully because this scripture is worth a thousand words plus. It is clearly stating that if you are a believer in God’s Son, you will basically live forever. I know you are saying, no one lives forever and I would say you are correct, no one lives forever in the PHYSICAL, but this scripture is not talking to you from the physical. This scripture is speaking to us from the spiritual, and it says if you trust in God’s Son whom you have not seen with physical eyes but have seen Him with your spiritual eyes, you will live forever and not only live forever but will reign with God and His Son forever and ever. The word of God says, “You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” 

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭ ..We who have chosen Christ will reign forever right here on earth for a thousand years before the new earth and heaven will come into existence. When you think about this from a physical and spiritual mindset, it is an awesome thing to fathom, that I, that you will reign with the Father. Let’s think a little further, you are reigning with the Heavenly Father because when you accepted Him as your personal Savior, you automatically became an heir to “The Throne.” Let’s look at Matthew 25:34 it says, “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. When you said, “Where He leads, I will follow,” you inherited the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the earth. Only heirs can inherit and you can only inherit if the King has accepted you into His family from your spiritual birth, meaning that you must be born again to be a part of God’s family. God is so awesome because He has allowed us to see what reigning is, right here on earth. Let’s look at the queen of England. She reigns now over England and the only person that can take over and reign with her is the one that is born into the family through the blood line of that family. You can’t come from another bloodline and say you are going to reign in England. It is unheard of and that is the same with The Kingdom of God, you cannot come to the Great King but through the blood of His Son which is the beginning of your new birth. Wow! Think about that. We must be born again through the blood of Jesus who died on the cross that we may have eternal life and reign with the Father forever and ever. Do know that you cannot reign if you are going to hang with the world. You must make a decision to either accept or reject Christ. Whichever way a person chooses is where they will spend eternity. The person who rejects Christ will reign eternally in a burning Hell with satan, but those who accept will spend eternity with the Savior. Have you shared this scripture with anyone? If not you need to and it doesn’t have to be with an unbeliever only, it can be with saints as well, so they can be reminded of this truth and also share it with others.
