Walk by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

What does walking by faith mean? If you walk by faith, that means you trust or believe in something without seeing it with your physical eyes. In the spiritual realm, faith is the substance (the heart of Christianity: the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus whom we have not seen) of things (whatever) hoped (want) for; the evidence (proof) of things (whatever) not seen. In summation, I live my life trusting the Father to guide my life to success and favor without consulting me first. If you are truly walking by faith and not with what you see, then you are totally surrendering your life, your will for His will. You are saying I trust you , no matter what happens. You are saying my life is in your hands, I don’t know what is about to happen, but I trust you enough to let go and let you lead me down this path that will be bumpy sometimes, but I trust you. This path may lead to physical death but I trust you and know that physical death leads to eternal life with you. This path may make me cry, but you are with me at all times because you are a God that cannot lie. This path my seem never ending but my faith in you says as long as you are with me, everything will be alright. Do you have this type of faith that knows regardless of what it looks like, God is in control, so therefore everything will work out for my good. If you can’t say that and mean it, then you really don’t have faith. If you are always worried about one thing or another, then you are not yet at that level of faith that knows whatever happens next is for my good. If you want this type of faith, then just ask the Father to help you reach this level of faith in your Christian walk.

Be blessed
