It’s Okay to Let Go

Psalms 121:1-2

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

I have leaned the hard way where my help comes from. I have done many foolish things in my own strength but over time  and failures, I have learned to put my trust and faith in Christ. I have learned that I am nothing without Him.  My problem was that I tried to be this independent woman who strived to get things done in her own strength, but because of failed mistakes,  I have learned to put self aside and be this independent woman with Christ as my guide. I have learned that my life is better with Him than without Him.  There’s a children’s song that says, “Every move I make I make in You,You make me move, Jesus Every breath I take I breathe in You. Every step I take, I take in You, You are my way, Jesus. Every breath I take I breathe in You.”

I have learned that every move, every breath I take is all because of Christ. If He does not will it to be so, it will not be. I’ve learned to ask Him if it is in your will oh God, please let it be but if it is not in your will then let this cup pass from me. I can say that through my humble submission to Him, things have changed in my life.  I’m not saying I haven’t had challenges and obstacles in my life, but I am saying that since my eyes are focused on the master, I’ve been able to withstand the storm and feel His cool breeze after the storm.  I can say that because I have learned to look to Him for everything in my life, I have seen more good days than bad days. In fact,  my bad days were not unbearable because He was always there with me.

If you are struggling to let go and let God lead and guide you, then take it from me, your life would be better if you just let go. You would have less anxiety and stress. You would have the opportunity to experience Christ’ peace, hope and joy. You would be able to see clearly through this worldly maze we live in. If you just look to the Jesus for help and stop doing things on your own, you would notice a shift in your atmosphere that would bring God’s blessings into your life. You would see as I finally saw that life is so much sweeter with Christ as the leader than without Him. You would finally realize that all your help does come from the Lord who made Heaven and earth. You would see life through your spiritual lens and know that no matter what it looks like, everything will turn out for your good because you have learned to put all your trust and faith in Christ. Look up for your help because Christ is there waiting on you to ask.
