God Knows Best

John 16:24
“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”
If you were wondering why you have not received anything from the Lord, well it is usually one of these three reasons: It is not in His will for your life. When you decide in your own less qualified wisdom that you can handle your situation without God's Will for it to be so, then whatever happens to you , you deserve it. We cannot do anything without Christ's Will for it to be. When you pray for whatever you want Him to do, you must say “If it is your will Lord, let it be so”. Another reason might be that He does not know you because you have not decided that Christ is the best thing, and you don't even know how to ask God to help you. When you decide to choose God, He will hear you and He will move on your behalf. Stop loosing out on joy and a peace of mind and give your life to Christ. Another reason is that your motive is wrong for what you are asking God for. James 4:3 says, " When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motive." You need to know that God is looking into your heart and He knows what will help you and what will hinder you. So don't get frustrated, just trust that God knows what is best for you. This scripture says to ask and your joy will be complete, and I say yes it will, but YOU need to make sure it's His will, He knows you as His child and your motive is right. If all 3 of these things are in check then yes, ask Him and you will receive.
