Read Your Word

Joshua 1:8

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

The only way to know what God loves and what He hates is through His word. Everything you need to know is in His word. So strive everyday to pick up His word that comforts and guides us. This word that divides truth from fiction. This word that is the foundation of our faith. This word that is living and active, sharper than a two-edged sword. This word that is breathed out by God to teach, reproof, correct, and train us in righteousness. This word that is food for our souls. Pick up the word of God daily so that you understand and obey what God has clearly told us to do.
